Local chapters moving to state communities by the end of 2024
Posted about 2 months ago by Katherine Riordan
An exciting change is coming to HPNA in 2025!
After receiving feedback from chapter leaders and members, the HPNA Board of Directors has voted to transition HPNA Chapters to HPNA State Communities. These groups will be self-led. All participants can be as involved as they want to be. We will be able to plan an in-person events, post on the group community page, or host a virtual event – the choice is up to US!
Speaking of the group community – you now have access to an online community based on your location. This will serve as a great resource to connect and network with those in your area. View the HPNA State Communities here. Note: they are currently blank but will soon have valuable information. Make sure you bookmark now so you're ready when the time comes!
Over the next few months, you’ll notice some changes to Chicagoland Chapter HPNA:
*We are planning a party to celebrate all the amazing efforts and people connected to the chapter! It's going to be AMAZING!!! Keep your eyes out for details coming in the next month. We want EVERYONE who has made a contribution - past or present, big or small - to join us!
*All auto-enrollment has been cancelled for all current members.
*We are working on having the new member links deactivated.
*Nursing Network will be deactivated before the end of this year. We are working to have a seamless transition to the State Communities page, so we will communicate more details about this transition as they unfold.
We know change can be challenging and our goal with taking this step is to make it easier for you, our members, to connect with one another.
If you have any questions, please contact HPNA at info@hpna.org.
We appreciate all of you! Our board, both current and recent past members, plan on continuing our dedication to the cause through these State Communities, so we hope to see you there...AFTER we celebrate all the successes the chapter has made throughout the years! Party details coming soon...
